This month, Oregon-based craft brewer Rogue Ales will release a new Hop Family series of IPAs. The four distinct new beers will celebrate the eight varietals of hops grown on-site at Rogue Farms, which boasts 42 acres of hopyard on the banks of the Willamette River in Independence, Oregon.

Rogue says:

“The 8 varieties include Alluvial, Freedom, Independent, Liberty, Newport, Rebel, Revolution, and Yaquina hops. Each year, Rogue Farms strings, stakes, trains, trims, separates, sorts, kilns, cools and bales the hops it grows before sending them to the Rogue Brewery in Newport, Oregon.”

The 22-ounce bottles, pictured above, feature field guide style drawings to distinguish the hops in each IPA. Learn more about the new line, plus Rogue’s entire selection of beers, ciders, sodas and spirits, at rogue.com.
